Baby Kehinde Olaniyi was born two months ago in a very bad shape, with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (AMC) at the Garki General Hospital, as against his twin Taiye who is in perfect condition. He is also suffering from a case of undescended testicles, inguinal and lumbar hernia, plus Scoliosis, a medical condition in which a person's spine is curved from side to side.
Baby Kehinde’s medical condition was brought to the attention of the Sir Emeka Offor Foundation (SEOF), at which she has donated $4000 to help foot the bills for the lad’s medical trip to India. He would be attended to by a team of qualified medical professionals at the Global Hospital in Parel, Mumbai India, where all hopes are high that he would be restored to good health.
When the team from the Sir Emeka Offor Foundation arrived at the Garki hospital, his mother was seen crying profusely, with a disposition that showed she had lost all hopes for the survival of her baby, but for the timely intervention of the foundation.
The young lady Alaba, who just recently concluded her National Youth Service Scheme, was just a transitory acquaintance who took up the baby’s case, and brought it to the attention of SEOF.
