The Polio ambassador will participate in a Polio Summit, Also in attendance will be the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency President Goodluck Jonathan. This is to be followed by the commissioning of the Polio ambassador`s office by the visiting Rotary International (RI) President/ Trustee. There will also be a dinner for the visiting R.I. team

Books For Africa, a non-profit organization in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA, founded by Mr Tom Warth, is the world’s largest shipper of educational books to Africa. In a unique partnership that began in 2010, The Sir Emeka Offor Foundation (SEOF) in her bid to help revitalize education in Nigeria, seeking to equip libraries, schools, and universities throughout Nigeria with high quality computers, textbooks, and library books, initiated a plan to sponsor major shipments of books to Nigeria, The Gambia, and a number of other countries across the African continent.
The Sir Emeka Offor Foundation which has become BFA’s most important partner in Africa, has helped Books For Africa ship over a million books worth over $10 million to students in Nigeria and The Gambia over the last three years.. Plan is currently underway to distribute an additional 32 containers of books to Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. By the conclusion of this ambitious $14 million dollar book project, the Sir Emeka Offor Foundation will be the largest private donor of books on the Continent.
